February is LGBT+ History Month here in the UK – and we’re hoping you’ll help us celebrate at our next event, being held in conjunction with our friends at West London Queer Project.
Sports Media LGBT+ is proud to announce the second edition of ‘Quiztorical’ – a fun evening of pub quizzing in support of our chosen charity, akt.
The event will be held on Thursday 9 February (starts 7pm) at The Duchess in Hammersmith (320 Goldhawk Road, W6 0XF). Nearest station – Stamford Brook (District Line).
We last held an in-person pub quiz night for LGBT+ History Month back in February 2020 when we raised nearly £1,000 for charity.
Since then, social distancing restrictions caused by the pandemic have frustrated our efforts – so a big thank you to WLQP and The Duchess for helping to make this happen!
WLQP is a community interest company that organises social events and networking opportunities across West London. Through our connections with Pride in Touch, Sports Media LGBT+ has helped to set up WLQP’s Touch Rugby sessions which have proved to be a big success.
For the event on 9 February… once again, there’ll be a (very loose) history theme running throughout but most importantly, it’s a quiz for all – so it’s not just sports or LGBT-related questions
We’ve booked out a function room for a full night of quizzing. £5 per person entry; max 5 people in a team. REGISTER HERE!
There’s a great selection of food on offer – so you don’t have to eat beforehand – and of course, a well-stocked bar! Take a look at the selection.
